Welcome to the North Carolina Government Finance Officers Association (NCGFOA) Spring Conference held at the Pinehurst Resort.

Our commitment to professional development continues with a robust educational program designed to provide Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours and valuable training. Remember, the NCGFOA is your association, and we encourage each of you to engage actively in its growth and direction.

This conference is an excellent platform for sharing insights, fostering collaborations, and shaping the future of our profession. Should you wish to contribute your expertise to the planning of future events, we welcome you to approach any Board member with your ideas.

**Registration costs are subject to increase after the registration cutoff date of January 19, 2026.

The reservation deadline to book a hotel room within the conference room block at Pinehurst is January 19th. However, please note that once the hotel room block fills up, we cannot guarantee a room at the advertised room block rate.

The room reservations within the conference room block are $269++ per night. There is a 10% resort fee added onto the room reservation.

Yes, guests are welcome to attend the Sunday and Monday night receptions for a registration fee of $50 per person.

Yes, your guest is welcome to play in the golf tournament. They will need to be registered as your guest for the conference at $50 and then registered for the tournament at $75.

Join Us for the Golf Tournament!

Sunday, Feb. 15 @ 11:00AM | Pinehurst No. 5

Join us for the golf tournament on Pinehurst No. 5 to kick off the spring conference! There will be straight tee times starting at 11:00am on Sunday. The tournament will be a Scramble format. A box lunch will be provided on the course.

Registration for the golf tournament is $75. You will have the opportunity to register for the golf tournament during the overall conference registration. Guests are able to register for the golf tournament as well. Upon registration, you will receive an email to input your teammates (if applicable), otherwise you will be assigned a team. 

Sponsorship Opportunities

The Association must receive written cancellation of your sponsorship, via e-mail to events@nclm.org, by January 19, to be eligible for a refund. Sponsorships cancelled after January 19 are nonrefundable.

An attendee list, including name and local government units, will be available one week out from the conference. It will be posted on the NCGFOA guidebook app.

Vendors can set up their booth on Sunday, February 15th 1:00-4:00PM and tear down is Tuesday, February 17th after 3:00PM.

No. If you would like to sponsor the conference you do not have to be an associate member of NCGFOA. However, if you would simply like to attend the conference without sponsorship and you are not a government finance officer, an associate membership of NCGFOA is required. Please contact Karen Waddell for all membership questions.

All booth numbers will be assigned by the NCGFOA board of directors. The sponsor representatives will receive their booth assignments onsite upon conference check-in.

It is $500 per person outside of the allotted complimentary registrations. Swapping out representatives per day under one registration is not permitted.

If you would like to announce your door prize winner from the stage on Tuesday afternoon at the conclusion of the general session, please let the registration desk staff know by Tuesday morning. 

The NC League of Municipalities is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.  State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.  Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its web site: www.nasbaregistry.org.
